This series is about finding the moment where you choose to stay. Not because the world slows down, but because you do. The strokes move like weather, sweeping, colliding, resolving, while that quiet center holds. It's the pause between fight and flight. The part of us that decides to breathe, even when everything's loud.
I painted this during a season when we all are learning how to anchor ourselves without needing everything around us to settle first. It's messy, and it’s intentional. It's chaotic, and it’s calm enough.
